Study Advice: Speaking

Lots of English learners say they want to improve their speaking. Some people find speaking easy, and others think it's the most difficult part of learning a language.

Here are some examples of what English learners say about speaking:

"I can never find the words I need when I'm speaking"

"I can't hear myself making mistakes. I find it hard to correct myself"

"I want to have conversations with other people but I feel too embarrassed"

"I live with people who speak my own language, so I can't speak English outside school"
